So. It was our company summer outing. It was held in Costa Bella Tropical Beach Hotel here in Cebu and my office friends said it was a pretty good spot and they had fun during the outing. I don’t have any opinion about the said event or the resort cause after all, I failed to board our bus ride.

Oh let’s just say these are one of those days when my lack of social interest kicks in full blast. And it’s not because I’ve gained a couple of pounds since my capoeira injury so I can’t show off some bikini bod. Not that I’ll wear one if ever— Nah. Forget I ever mentioned that. Let’s just say I’m not much of a beach bum. And I missed my “all-aloner” -thing.

I’ve been busy with work these past few weeks and I most of the time spent my days off inside my room watching Chuck reruns that I failed to stroll outside, observe other people, grab something to eat, doodle, go to a bookstore, watch a movie, smell the roses. OK. Maybe not much of the last.

I realized it’s almost the end of the summer and aside from the literal hotness of Cebu weather, I haven’t really felt summer at all. So, I wore my favorite shorts, a gray tee and a slip wear and off I went malling. Too comfy if I may say. Not the usual combination I’d wear whenever I’d go malling but then fashion had never been on the top of my list so whatever. It’s not like I’ll be on a date or something.

So. I went for a late lunch (2:45 PM).

Hmmmm. Listing all of that is making me regret why I missed our summer outing. Haha. Nah. Not at all. Po was really funny. Not to mention that something interesting happened today. Yeah. That’s all I can say: interesting. And yes, this is me being cryptic again.

Oh well. Beach or Mall, it was great to get away from work. Our boss from Canada is here for the entire week so that’s definitely an additional pressure. Wrinkles! Not to mention I’m getting old in days time. Ahhh. Why do I have to constantly remind myself of that?

It’s just great to spend time with your self sometimes.
