25 years old.

Some people regard this as the Christmas cake age. I guess that’s for the literal reason that Christmas falls on the 25th day.

Did you know that a Christmas Cake girl in Japan is referred to be one of those women over the age of 25 that are often seen as “used goods” by Japanese men? As a result, single Japanese women with such age will often find a foreign partner, since Japanese men are no longer interested in them.

Ha. I guess it’s a good thing that I’m a Filipino. But doesn’t really matter. Japanese men is not much to my liking anyway.

Excuses?

25. It’s an age where one know that love is not always sweet and that you don’t hear bells when you kiss.

Ha. I don’t know about that.

But today is June 3, (have to remind you that just in case you have a pretty messed up date/time association). But yes, since today is June 3, that officially makes me a 25-year-old-never-been-kissed-….girl?lass?lady?woman? Ha. 25 but still struggling with identity crisis.

I have a Today’s Advice Poster in my room which was a present from my girl friends back in college.

It’s been a while since I’ve actually close my eyes in front of it, turned my pointing finger in clockwise direction and let it land anywhere in the said poster. And today, my finger of fate landed in one of the squares that says:

Which is kind of fitting for today’s occassion. It took me one day at a time to reach this age. LOL. Yeah. There I go with literal interpretations again.

Seriously though, I thank God for this gift of life. And though this day is far from a perfect birthday celebration, I’m still grateful cause a lot of people who matters remembered me. And with that alone, I couldn’t ask for more.

Hmmmmm….Maybe some #23 from my last 400th post won’t be so bad. Haha. Ahhh. This easily swayed heart of mine just turned 25. Be still my heart. Be Still.
